The Test Kitchen: The Ultimate Kitchen Studio

Welcome to our state-of-the-art kitchen studio, a fully equipped production studio and event venue in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles. Whether you’re hosting an event, testing a new menu, or filming a culinary production, Crafted Kitchen’s versatile studio kitchen is the perfect backdrop for any project.

Set the Scene for Your Next Event or Production

Your food deserves a beautiful stage.

Whether you’re filming content for your brand, hosting a product launch, or shooting professional food photography, you need a kitchen that looks as good as your food tastes. That’s exactly what we built at Crafted Kitchen.

Our Test Kitchen is 675 square feet of camera-ready space in the heart of Los Angeles’s Arts District — featuring soaring 27-foot bow-truss ceilings, polished concrete floors, abundant natural light, and a stunning marble countertop that was made to be a backdrop. Paired with a private outdoor patio of over 1,000 square feet, it’s a uniquely designed venue that can accommodate larger events while still feeling intimate for smaller gatherings.

Convenient. Versatile. Showstopping.

A Kitchen Built for the Camera — and for Real Production

The Test Kitchen has hosted film and TV projects for Top Chef, Master Chef, PBS, Netflix, Nike, Hulu, and Disney — as well as product launches, influencer events, food and photography shoots, team-building experiences, and corporate events.

We understand what production requires. The space is quiet and easily accessible for loading equipment in and out. For multi-day shoots, crews are welcome to leave the set staged and equipment secured overnight — because we know that friction kills momentum. Our goal is to make the art of production streamlined and friction-free.
