It is without question that Domaine Marcel Deiss is among the most important producers in Alsace. After visiting him to learn about the vineyards, the history of the land, and the Deiss wine-growing philosophy, I'll host Mathieu Deiss for dinner in LA to celebrate RAW WINE FAIR and continue the natural wine conversation. Plus, I'll get to return his warm hospitality.

Crafted Kitchen Presents: An Evening with Seamus Mullen

Join Crafted Kitchen for an evening with award-winning New York chef, restaurateur, author and health and wellness expert Seamus Mullen, whose new cookbook, Real Food Heals, teaches home cooks how to create healing, life-changing, and plant-based recipes. 

Each ticket includes your own copy of Real Food Heals, a hands-on cooking workshop with Seamus, drinks and dinner on Crafted Kitchen's patio. 

During the workshop you'll learn how to prepare a few of his signature recipes and Seamus will offer tips on how to make healthy eating easy. 

Seamus Mullen is an award-winning New York chef, restaurateur, cookbook author and health and wellness expert. He opened his first solo restaurant Tertulia in Manhattan in 2011, which garnered two stars from The New York Times and was a finalist for the prestigious James Beard Foundation Award for Best New Restaurant. In 2013, he opened El Colmado, a Spanish tapas and wine bar at Gotham West Market, a food hall in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen. He was awarded “Chef of the Year” by Time Out New York and has been named a semi-finalist for Best Chef NYC by the James Beard Foundation 3 years in a row

Shared Plates: a fundraising dinner benefitting L.A. Kitchen

Crafted Kitchen is proud to support L.A. Kitchen, a non-profit at the forefront, working to combat food waste, unemployment, workforce re-entry and senior isolation. By reclaiming healthy, local food that would have otherwise been discarded, providing job training for unemployed adults and supplying healthy meals to fellow citizens, L.A. Kitchen empowers, nourishes and engages the community.

Shared Plates is L.A. Kitchen's premiere annual fundraiser, a citywide weekend of dinner parties celebrating the power of food.

On October 5th, Crafted Kitchen will host a Shared Plates dinner, featuring three unique courses by local culinary talent Taste of Pace and Chef Michelle & Company.

The evening's program will feature L.A. Kitchen's Founder & CEO, Robert Egger. He will discuss our city’s hunger and homeless epidemics and suggest ways that our community can unite in support of one another.

Please join us! We’ll share a meal and celebrate the courageous people who are working to make this city a better place.

All proceeds directly benefit L.A. Kitchen's meal distribution and culinary training programs.

What better way to enjoy the last few weeks of summer than to enjoy a cold beer (or four!) on the patio?

Join us Tuesday August 29, for a Craft Beer + Food Pairing Workshop led by our partners, Indie Brewing Company

Indie Co-founder Connor Forbes will talk us through their brewing process, explain how to identify specific flavors, and show us how those flavors translate into basic food pairings. You'll taste their signature brews, from a refreshing light ale to a dark and malty stout.

We couldn’t talk about food pairings without food! Chef Michelle will prepare a tasting menu where each dish complements the specific characteristics of each beer.

Join us as we taste test four different Indie Brew’s, paired with four different dishes.

It's hard to believe, but Todo Verde is turning 2! To show our gratitude to everyone who's supported us throughout the years, we are hosting a 2-year birthday party at Crafted Kitchen in DTLA. Join us for a night of UNLIMITED bites (did someone say vegan taco bar?!), boozy aguas frescas, and live music and art! Local artist Irene Diaz will be performing, as well as live art by Andi Xoch from Ni Santas Collective.

Following the success of "Fin to Fin: A Zero Waste Cooking Workshop” Crafted Kitchen presents “Chicken & Biscuits: The Zero Waste Way” the second half of our sustainable cooking series.

Join us! You’ll learn a few tips on for reducing waste in the kitchen, taste some delicious dishes and enjoy a cold beer, courtesy of our partners, Indie Brew Co.

Talented zero waste chef, Michelle Lainez, will demonstrate the simple steps used to break down a whole chicken and offer suggestions for using every part. Using homemade ingredients, Chef Michelle will then prepare fried chicken and biscuits for us all to try.
